Pasting of interior parts with film is the process of applying vinyl decorative or transparent protective polyurethane films to the plastic parts of a vehicle interior for protective or decorative purposes.

Pasting the interior plastic with a protective transparent film. How to paste over the interior parts with a film:

1. The first step is the choice of material and assessment of the condition of the parts. The master, together with the client, determines whether preparatory polishing is needed, etc.
2. Disassembly of interior parts. At this stage, the master carefully disassembles and removes the interior elements. To paste the inserts on the doors, it is often necessary to dismantle the door cards, to make their partial or complete disassembly. To paste the panel around the gearbox, in some car models, it is necessary to partially or completely disassemble the console.
3. Degreasing. It is no secret that the film adheres well to the glued elements, the interior parts must be degreased, for this special anti-silicones are used, which remove various contaminants well, while not spoiling the piano lacquer and the plastic structure.
4. Pasting of interior parts. This process is usually the most labor intensive. With a relatively small consumption of materials, the master devotes a lot of time to the pasting process due to the high detail of the work. This work requires high concentration and increased visual detail. For example, it may take a craftsman much less time and effort to wrap a one-piece car hood than a plastic center console, due to the disassembly time and increased concentration when cutting the film.
