There are several types of window tinting:

Mirror tinting - gives the windows a pleasant mirror shade, helps to reduce heat transfer, thereby perfectly masking the interior of the room from prying eyes.

Color tinting is the tinting of windows with colored tinting films. This type of tinting can be harmoniously revered with the facade of houses and buildings, thanks to a wide range of colors.

Athermal tinting is a special type of tinting that almost completely blocks the ingress of thermal sunlight, thereby reducing the load on the air conditioning of the room, and also gives the highest level of comfort in the home or office. In the hot season, you can enjoy the view from the window without feeling discomfort from the heat of the sun.

Athermal window tinting is very popular in commercial buildings such as shops, kiosks, store fronts, beauty salon windows to protect staff and customers from the heat of the sun. Series of athermal tinting films have a wide range of light transmission, from the darkest to the lightest, almost invisible on a tinted window.

Self-darkening tinting Montana Vario is a revolutionary product in the world of tinted films. This film has the highest athermal performance (blocking the thermal rays of the sun), as well as the special properties of "self-tinting". In the dark, tinted windows are almost transparent, and in the light, they are self-tinted, depending on the intensity of the sun's rays.

Window protection is a special type of glass tinting with special thick protectioned films. There are several window tinting systems, such as SU-1, SU-2, SU2.

How to tint windows yourself:

1. Windows need to be cleaned and degreased.
First of all, the windows to be tinted must be thoroughly washed. Any remaining particles will stick to the tint film and may cause unwanted unevenness under the film. And once the film is installed, it is impossible to remove any stains or debris that have fallen under it.

2. Measure your windows
Although a common sense task, this does not make it any less important. Leave an extra ¾ to 1 inch on all sides of the film. This greatly simplifies installation.

3. Separate the film from the substrate
This step will be much easier if you have a partner to help you. Otherwise, if you're not careful, the film may stick to itself, rendering the piece useless.

4. Stick the film on the window
After the adhesive is removed, most films are sprayed with water or another solution to activate the adhesive. The film is then glued to the inside of the window. It is also highly recommended to have a partner for this step.

5. remove bubbles
Just like when you stick a bumper sticker on your car, annoying bubbles tend to appear when you install window tint film. Many recommend using a squeegee during this process. Spraying additional water onto the film, or whatever solution was used to initially bond the film, can also help create a uniform look when using a squeegee.

6. Trim excess film
Once all the bubbles have been removed, it's time to remove the excess window film. This is also a good time to remove any excess water that may have accumulated during the process.

7. Let the windows dry
During drying, moisture introduced during installation may cause small water droplets to accumulate or a cloudy haze to appear. Don't panic, this is completely normal and will pass with time. Depending on the current weather and other environmental factors, the curing step can take anywhere from a couple of days to a month.
