The protective film on the windshield is installed in several stages:
At the first stage, the master, if necessary, disassembles (dismantling the wipers, removing plastic holdings, etc.)
At the second stage, the master determines the amount of material needed, makes a pattern from a protective film.
Glass cleaning and degreasing. The master cleans the windshield from dirt using special cleaning blades for glass, degreases the glass with alcohol.
Film forming. The master makes the molding of the film with a high-temperature hair dryer, the film takes the hemisphere of glass. After molding, the final trimming and fitting of the film to the final size takes place.
Film installation. With the help of a soap solution and a special squeegee, the master installs the film on the windshield.
The service life of a protective film for glass, on average, ranges from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the operating conditions. It is very wonderful if the film has become unusable, it is re-pasted, preserving the novelty and transparency of the windshield.
