Sports striping is a process of vinyl styling, applying patterns from car wraps, in order to give the car a more sporty appearance.
A cult representative of the Pony Car class from the Ford Motor Company came to our studio to glue sports stripes.
Sticking sports bands includes a full range of works:
- Making an electronic layout of patterns
- Plotter cutting strips on vinyl film
- Application of stripes on the hood, roof, bumper, trunk lid
When gluing sports stripes, it is very important to observe all proportions, the distance between the strips, and also correctly distribute them on complex elements, such as bumpers and roofs. On the roof they did the dismantling of the antenna, with the disassembly of the cabin.

The time spent on applying the stripes is from 1 to 2 working days, including the development of a layout design, the production of a vector pattern, cutting on a plotter, and application.
